While knitting the sample, I was appalled by the unsightly bumps created along both the upper and lower edges by beginning every row with p2tog. So I knit another, adding an additional edge stitch on each side and using the selvedge technique from 19. Knitted Lace (Wide).
Aaah. Much better.
Next time: Narrow Edge

This lace is pretty too. The bumps remind me of crochet lace. Interesting that a p2tog will do that. I like your version too. Thanks for all your work in sharing these patterns.
What a pretty pattern. Thanks for posting it.
The bumps on the lower edge make the lace vaguely resemble some kinds of conch shells, but I still like your version better.
I appreciate all the work you are doing in sharing these lovely lace patterns.
I have chosen you for the Honest Scrap award!! Because I love your blog! Please check out my blog for details!
When I was a kid I edged a ton of pillow cases in crochet. I've been having a hankerin' to do that again, and was starting to wonder where I would find some nice, quick knitted edges, and then I remembered your project! Spacebo, Katya!
