20. Parisian Lace

The wagon wheel motif along the lower edge gives "Parisian Lace" a strikingly different look. The garter stitch design also features a stockingnet horizontal lozenge shape and a row of ladder eyelets along the upper edge. The stitch count rises from 17 to 21 by the end of the fourth row. One of the added stitches is worked off in row 7 and the remainder are bound off in the final row of the 10-row repeat.

What an awesome blog - I love knitting lace edgings. A few years ago I had a lot of friends getting married and I knit many of them lace bordered hankies. It is always wonderful to have additional resources. Thank you for your time and effort!

ooh la-la! the laces on your blog are things i would make and then stow away for that "it just needs something extra to finish it off..." project :-)

This is *exactly* what I've been looking for! Trying to knit a pretty piece like this only it's taken me ages to find it. This is beautiful. The only problem is, I'm a beginner, so I'll have to work up to this. Especially since the pattern has me completely lost. Never looked at or used a pattern for something like this. I'm going to have to bookmark your page and come back to this. :) Thank you for sharing this!
